I am a dance maker, performer and facilitator living in Newcastle. Across all my roles, I have a strong desire to work in ways that are warm, welcoming and celebratory.

Play is at the heart of my practice. I love to improvise, both solo and with others, and am deeply interested in somatic practice and experience. I want to create work and participation opportunities that make space for us to feel powerful and connected to our bodies and to other people.

Speaking to this, I have began to explore Contact Improvisation and have co-created a voluntarily ran Contact Improvisation group in Newcastle. It is an inclusive space where people of different ages, backgrounds and experiences collaborate, exchange ideas and enjoy dancing together.

I work widely as a freelancer, working on performance, choreography and participation projects for theatres, galleries, community and outdoor spaces.
